Muriels Wedding

Muriels Wedding is a classy Australian film based around the wedding of Muriel. Her friends reject her as they do not deem her to be in the same league as her. They feel she needs some new clothes and to be more stylish to fit in. They feel she is a repellant of the opposite sex. Her family deem her to be somewhat of an expensive loser. However, it is her who has the last laugh as ahe is the one who gets married.

Nirvana

Kurt Kobain is the lead singer of Nirvana. Famous albums include, ‘Bleach’ and ‘Nevermind’. Famous singles include, ‘Smells like Teen Spirit’ and, ‘Come as you are’. Dave Grohl did the drums and Backing vocals for this band.

Basement Jaxx

Songs by Basement Jaxx include Remedy and Crazy Itch Radio. Famous singles include Red Alert and Romeo.

Foo Fighters

Albums by the Foo Fighters include Skin and Bones, In Your Honour and One by One. Singles include, ‘Times Like these’ and ‘All my life’. The Foo Fighters are an agressive rock band. One of my favourite singles is Monkey Wrench. I like the lyrics in this song.

Albums by Coldplay include ‘Parachutes’, ‘A Rush of Blood to the head’ and X and Y. Songs by Coldplay include, ‘Shiver’. In my place and ‘The Scientist’. One of their biggest hits is, ‘The Hardest Part’. In my opinion Coldplay are better to be heard on CD than to be heard live.

Bloc Party

Bloc Party have released two albums. One of them is called Silent Alarm and the other is called Bloc Party. Singles include Helicopter and Tulip. In my opinion Bloc Party are better heard live than on a CD. The band were inspired by Sonic Youth and Joy Division.

Oasis

Albums by Oasis include Defineley Maybe, and Whats the Story Morning Glory. Another classic album is The Masterplan. Classic singles by Oasis include, ‘Don’t look back in Anger’ and ‘Champange Supernova’. It is true that Oasis were a definitive Brit Pop Band of the 1990′s and influenced music in so many ways. There gigs are legendary.

The White Stripes

Albums by The White Stripes include ‘White Blood Cells’ and ‘Animals’. One of thier more famous songs is, ‘I just don’t know what to do with myself’. Another one of thier famous songs is, ‘Fell in Love with a girl’. ‘The Hardest button to button’ is another great song by The White Stripes.

The Offspring

Albums by the Offspring include ‘Ixnay on the Hombre’, ‘Americana’ and ‘Conspiracy of One’. Other albums include ‘Smash’, ‘The Offspring’. Singles by the Offspring include, ‘Want you Bad’. ‘Original Prankster’ and ‘I want you bad’. Another famous single is, ‘Why don’t you get a job’. My personal favourite is ‘Pretty Fly for a White Guy’.

Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol have released four albums. One of them being ,’Songs for Polar Bears’. Another album they have released is, ‘When its all over we will still have to clear up’. Another album they have released is final straw. The latest album they have released is ‘Eyes Open’. Some of thier hits are ‘How to be dead’ and ‘Your’e all I have’. My personal favourite song is, ‘Chasing Cars’.
